In memory of Petey. He was a one eyed fish we bought from Petco. When we saw him, we realized that he was the fish for us and Petco sold him to us for a quarter, since he had only one eye. He was a very good fish and we miss him.

Ostracods

These creatures, according to some research we did, are called "Ostracods", which are a form of freshwater crustaceans. From what we can tell, they are harmless since they only eat algae, but there were so many in the tank, we bought some Zebra fish to help cull the number since our Betta is a picky eater. Some of the information we collected was from this site: http://www2.una.edu/microaquarium/Crustaceans.htm
